Introduction Blog

Hi Everyone! My name is Christine Johnson and I am junior at the Bloomsburg Campus. I am a Secondary Education Major with a concentration in English with a minor in Dance and Child Life Specialist. I love to read, dance, bake, hike, and hang out with my friends in my free time. In the future, I hope to expand my education in teaching and go back to school to get certified in all different grade-levels and work my way up to Administrative positions in Schools. I have always had a passion for teaching and being in a classroom, especially because a lot of my family members also are teachers as well.

In class, I had mentioned that one of my all time favorite novels is "And Then There Were None" by Agatha Christie. This book is about 8 people who are invited to a secluded island. When they reach this island and are gathered together, they are faced with the accusations and confrontations of a specific murder that they have committed in the past. Shortly after, one by one everyone begins to die and they are stuck with trying to trust one another while also figuring out who is the killer amongst them. As a reader who primarily enjoys romance novels this type of genre was out of my comfort zone. I do not read a lot of mystery novels but this novel I revisit at least every 3 months. I also love the Hunger Games series and revisit that franchise quite often. I have always been a fan of the series and loved the heavy amount of details that the book provided that the movies did not include.

A website I would recommend is a very common one which is Youtube. I love all of the different content and information that Youtube can provide ranging from informational to entertainment purposes.  https://www.youtube.com/

One specific video I would recommend to people is Minnesotas Dance Pom Routine. This is just a really cool performance for people to watch.
